Introducing the Smoky Songwriter's Series 2011 in Gatlinburg, TN!

June 10-11 at 8:00 PM, we will be showcasing respected songwriters from Nashville at Bear Creek Grill on Highway 321 in Gatlinburg, TN, near the Arts and Crafts Community. We will be featuring songwriters Sonny Throckmorton, Kenneth Duncan, and Debbie Throckmorton.

Sonny Throckmorton is one of the most successful songwriters in County Music. Over 1,000 of his songs have been recorded by artists such as Tanya Tucker, Dave and Sugar, Merle Haggard, Jerry Lee Lewis, the Oakridge Boys, and even comedian George Burns. He is a member of NASHVILLE'S HALL OF FAME and THE TEXAS HERITAGE SONGWRITERS ASSOCIATION.

Kenneth Duncan was a stand out football player and vocalist from Kansas City, Missouri. An injury at the University of Missouri caused a change of plans that directed his focus towards his music. Kenneth moved to Nashville in May of 2005 and wrote with anyone that would give him a chance to make a name for himself. Since then Kenneth has written with hit writers and artists such as Reed Nielson, Kenny Beard, Emerson Drive, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Kenneth is an accomplished vocalist and writes primarily on the guitar.

Debby Throckmorton is a songwriter, acting coach, screenplay writer and is well known for comic improv in Nashville. She is the daughter of Nashville's Hall of Fame SONNY THROCKMORTON. She also co-owns her own publishing company, Daylight Moon, along with Jim England and Angel Cropper.

It's all happening June 10-11th, 2011 at Bear Creek Grill starting at 8:00 PM. Bear Creek Grill is located at 1654 East Parkway on Highway 321 in Gatlinburg. We hope to see you there!
