Featured Songwriter - Curly Putnam

One of the many gifted singer-songwriters that the Bear Creek Grill in Gatlinburg, TN has welcomed for the Songwriter's Series is Curly Putnam. Curly Putnam is a Nashville songwriter famous for "Green, Green Grass of Home" - which was widely covered by a huge range of popular artists - from Porter Wagoner to Elvis Presley, from Johnny Cash to Jerry Lee Lewis, from Merle Haggard to Tom Jones and many more!

And it's not every day Paul McCartney comes over to stay at your farm and write a song about it ("Junior's Farm").

Curly Putnam is a very accomplished addition to our list of performers at the Songwriter's Series and we were extremely proud and fortunate enough to feature him!
